Hello and happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend. We finally got some real snow here in Boston, and i am quite pleased! I mean, if it’s going to be cold out, then we might as well have something pretty and fluffy to look at. The only issue is that the snow became slush and then froze over so it’s a little dangerous outside, which is why I stayed mainly on the steps in the pictures. This sweater is one that I am so glad to have purchased. Really, it is a giant box, but it is so comfortable and I think the oversized look is almost chic (for sure it would be with booties!). It will be easy to wear alone or to layer, and its neutral tone allows me to mix it with a lot. These are the boots I got at Marshalls wahoo- I needed a new pair of riding boots, and I loved the over-the-knee style of these. The difference of wear my old boots and these is incredible- ohh how nice it is to have really leather and some foot padding! I have happy feet now :) I’m happy to have found them on Piperlime as well… so you can snag them up!

¡Hola y feliz lunes! Espero que hayan tenido un agradable fin de semana. Por fin nevó este fin de semana en Boston y de verdad, estoy contenta. Es que, si va a hacer frío, mejor tener un poco nieve y algo bonito, no? El único problema es que se congeló la nieve y ahora hay hielo por las calles. Por eso, sacamos las fotos en el porche y nos quedamos adentro del apartamento por casi todo el día. Llevé este suéter y me encantaba, aunque es gigante. Es súper cómodo y creo que podría ser chic también (especialmente con botitas o tacones!). Lo puedo combinar con camisas y muchos colores así que sé que voy a llevarlo mucho en los días fríos que vienen. Y… !! Estas son las botas que compré en Marshalls yipee! Necesité otro par de botas y me gusta el estilo de estas, que suben las rodillas. La diferencia entre botas nuevas y mis viejas es increíble… ahora tengo pies súper felices!  También están en Piperlime, así que puedan comprarlas también. :)

Hello… I think I forgot to ever say Happy December! Can’t believe how fast November flew by! Matt and I snapped these pictures quickly in the airport because we were stuck there allll day on Monday, trying to get back to Boston. We were rushing because we thought we would get a standby pas on the upcoming flight… turned out we didn’t get on a flight until 6 hours later! Yikes! We’re glad to have made it back though :) This outfit was perfect for the airport. I’m all about layers because sometimes i have an ice-box for a flight, and sometimes it’s a sauna! Layers let me easily stay at a good temperature… And hey! Can you tell I am half asleep here?! Hah! Whoops…

Hola… no creo que les dije feliz diciembre todavía… pues no puedo creer que ya pasó noviembre! Mateo y yo regresamos a Boston ayer y sacamos estas fotos en el aeropuerto de Detroit. Las sacamos rápidamente porque pensamos que íbamos a abordar el avión (pues, de verdad no podíamos abordar hasta 6 horas después de que sacamos las fotos jaja!). Pues, aunque esperamos mucho ayer en el aeropuerto, estamos felices que pudimos regresar a Boston sin problemas. Este look fue perfecto para el aeropuerto porque tiene capas. Es que nunca sé como estarían mis vuelos- a veces son como congeladores y otras veces son más como saunas… así que con una bufanda, un chaleco y un suéter puedo o ponerme o quitarme ropa para estar cómoda. Oye… se han notado que estoy medio dormida en estas fotas? Jaja! Oops :)

Hola chic@s! I can’t believe Thanksgiving is tomorrow… whatttt!! I can’t wait to spend all day between my family and Matt’s, catching-up and just hanging out! :) This look is a super casual one that I wore to run last-minute errands with my mom. These booties are seriously the most comfortable thing my foot has been in… it is crazy! I haven’t taken them off since I slide my foot in at 4:30am on Sunday morning to head to the airport- I just don’t need to because they are comfortable and match well with a lot of the clothes I brought home.

I realize I’ve shown this crew-neck sweater a lot lately, and I’ve decided I need to stock-up on Black Friday. It’s from JCrew Factory and is so versatile. I layer with it, dress it up and down, and it is really comfortable. I never have loved a simple sweater so much, but the fun color really gets me. I’ve got my eye out for some over the weekend, they are a must-have closet essential and great for a last-minuet look. Annndd the beanie. So fun, so cheerful, how could I not love this little fuchsia number?! Not to mention, it’s great for the chilly weather! :)

¡Hola chic@s! No puedo creer que mañana ya es el Día de Acción Gracias…como?!?! Tengo muchas ganas de pasar todo el día charlando con mi familia y la familia de Matt :) Este look es súper informal y cómodo y lo llevé para hacer unas compras con mi madre. Estas botas son SUPER cómodas… no les puedo explicar! En serio, no las he sacado desde que 4:30 am el domingo… combinan muy bien con la ropa que traje a Michigan y mis pies están felices a llevarlas jaja! 

Sé que les he mostrado este suéter verde varias veces y hoy decidí que necesito comprar otros colores de lo. Es que este suéter es un básico y es súper versátil. Es perfecto para poner para un look rápido, y puedo llevarlo de manera formal o informal. Lo voy a buscar en otros colores el Viernes Negro :) Yyy el gorro. Me encanta el color de este gorro.. ¿Cómo no podría amarlo?! Durante el invierno, los gorros son esenciales y por eso, tengo ganas de invertir en otros gorros este viernes también!

HAPPY FRIDAY! I have had the craziest, longest and busiest week ever (which is why I’ve had short posts with little social activity!)… so I am SO happy for Friday. I am even more excited because my wonderful friend from college and Sigma Kappa, Sivan, is coming to visit me in Boston this weekend! Sivan had a major influence on my fashion style.. especially my girly side! Siv always had gorgeous and feminine items that she made playful with accessories. I used to just stare at her closet in awe of her fabulous STL finds. I’m sure you can imagine how much fun we will be having this weekend… especially on Newbury Street! ;)

Today I’m not wearing too many accessories, but that’s because the pattern of this shirt is an accessory in itself. These polkadots (which, yes, i wear polkadots a ton) are fun, and the play on shades of pink gives this look a youthful touch. I find this shirt to be really loose and flowy, which is why I chose a cross-body (to give me some shape!). I couldn’t decide between cuffing my jeans or tucking them in, so Matt made this option for me. The cuff shortens my legs, but it’s a little rugged and fun, so next time I will try that out!

Soooo I won’t write toooo much here… because i’ve got to get ready for my lovely old roomie to visit! :)

¡FELIZ VIERNES! He tenido una semana súper larga, ocupada y loca (por eso no estoy escribiendo mucho) y estoy TAN feliz que hoy es viernes. Estoy aún más emocionada para la llegada de mi muy buena amigo de la universidad y Sigma Kappa, Sivan. ¡Siv viene para visitarme en Boston y sé que vamos a divertirnos mucho! Ha tenido una gran influencia en mi estilo de moda porque cuando vivimos juntas, siempre adoraba sus joyas y ropa. Siv siempre lleva ropa femenina que le queda bien y usa sus joyas para añadir toques divertidos. Se pueden imaginar cuanto vamos a divertirnos este fin de en la calle de Newbury, no?! :) 

Hoy no llevo muchos accesorios porque el estampada de la blusa es, más o menos, un accesorio (es fuerte, ¿no?). Ambos los colores de rosa y el estampado crean un look juvenil, y por eso es perfecto para un viernes después de una semana demasiada ocupada ;) Uso mi bolsita que cruza mi cuerpo porque la blusa es súper floja, así que muestra una silueta mejor la bolsita. Y no pude decidir entre cómo iba a llevar mis jeans- con puños o adentro de mi botas… pues Matt eligió este look. La próxima vez los llevaré con puños, aunque cortan mis piernas un poco. 

Pueessss no escribiré mucho porque tengo que arreglar todo para mi compañera hoy! :)

Hello hello! Did you all enjoy getting an extra hour of sleep over the weekend?! I did :) I wore this look last week on a very chilly day, and i’ve gotta say, i wish I could rewear it over and over again because it keeps me so warm. I’m glad I listened to advice from those of you who commented about me keeping this vest. It is puffy- that’s for sure- but it is such a fun addition to a look and seriously keeps me warm! So thanks to all of you! Today I’m playing with patterns, one of my favorite ways to make my look playful. Pattern-mixing works really well when you have at least one continuous color. In this case, both of the colors, taupe and black, are used in both patterns, but even if it were just one, this would still be wearable. You can go through your closet and try this out and I bet you’ll find tons of matches!

I’ve been using these OTK boots a lot lately because unfortunately, my black riding boots are totally destroyed. Ok, not totally, but broken-in and loved oh-so much that they are no longer black. So i’m currently on the hunt for another pair, but until then, I’ll keep wearing these lovelies! ;)

¡Hola hola! Espero que hayan disfrutado la hora extra de descanso de este fin de semana tanto como yo. Llevé este look durante un día muy fresco y tengo muchas ganas de utilizarlo otra vez. También tengo que agradecerles a ustedes que me sugirieron a guardar mi chaleco. Sí, es un poco grande y puffy, pero el chaleco es de abrigo y tiene una estampada linda. ¡Así que gracias a ustedes por las sugerencias!  Hoy juego un poco con las estampadas, una manera de dar un toque de juventud a mis looks. Mantener al menos que un color entre las estampadas es el aspecto clave a mezclar estampadas. En este look, ambas estampadas mantienen la misma combinación de colores- negro y gris topo. Ustedes deben de buscar entre su ropa para ver cuales combinaciones podrían crear.

He usado estos botas de arriba rodilla varias veces porque mis botas negras son destruidas. Bueno, exagero un poco por decir destruidas, pero casi no son negras porque las he usado tanto. Asi que estoy usando estas botas de Sam Edelman mientras que busco un nuevo par para el clima frío.
