I’ve got ton of fashion trends for the autumn/winter season that I love- between leather, pink, tartan, and thigh-high boots, there’s a lot of love. But what has to be my favorite is the use of jewel-tones. This is a trend that is so easy to carry into the Holiday season as well, which makes me want to invest in it. An easy way to stay on-top of trends without breaking he bank is incorporating accessories in order to do so. My shoes and necklace are two jewel-toned items that are great prices, and easy to wear over and over again.
I’ve shown you all this necklace time and time again. I love to pair it with emerald green (another big trend and this year’s color of the year!) and deep gem colors, like sapphire blue. I thought it would be fun to layer this with the stripes of this turtleneck (annnd another trend for this cold season!) to make the gems really stand out again the neutral background.
I have the leather panel jeans down below (I know I don’t have to say this- another great trend to try out, though!) and then the unexpected deep blue heels. These heels mix with so many colors, it’s amazing. I love the vibrant blue with black and white, though, and think that it helps pull out some of the sapphire colored stones of the necklace. What do you think? Matt thought there was “a lot goin on” in this look, but I love it! :)

Hoy les comento que hay muchos estilos del otoño/invierno que amo- entre rosado, piel, tartán, y botas altas hay mucho para amar. Una moda de que estoy enamorada tiene que ser el uso de colores gemas. Es fácil usar gemas después del otoño, durante los días festivos, y por eso tengo ganas de invertir en lo. Una manera fácil para hacer eso sería comprar accesorios con colores gemas- por ejemplo, zapatos, joyas y bolsas. Hoy les muestro mi collar favorito para esta moda, y mis tacones hermosos azules.
Hablando sobre el collar: lo he combinado varias veces con colores vibrantes y de tonos gemas, como verde esmeralda (¡El color del año!). Quería combinarlo con rayas negras y blancas para dejar toda la atención al collar.
Y me puse los pantalones negros de piel (¡Otra moda de este época!) y los tacones azules abajo. Estos tacones mezclan con una variedad de colores, pero me gusta mucho usar un azul fuerte, como azul cobalto u zafiro, con blanco y negro para crear un efecto dramático.También ayudan a sacar las piedras de zafiro del collar, no? Matt pensó que había “muchos colores” en este look, pero a mi me gusta mucho! ¿Qué opinan?
